The Kensington Arts Center is located in the Emmanuel Episcopal Church building. The structure, built in 1927, was designed by noted architect John Neal Tilton. Tilton also designed the Rockefeller Chapel at the University of Chicago. Through a partnership with the parish, the KAC has classrooms for visual arts as well as 3 areas for piano and other music lessons. The magnificent sanctuary is home to a Casavant pipe organ, and is available by special arrangement for concerts and recitals when not in use for services and other church activities. The Lyons Township High School Madrigal, the Tower Chorale, and the William Ferris Chorale regulary host their concerts in the Emmanuel sanctuary.
